1.What you’re agreeing to
If you tick “You may include my child in class photos or videos we share” (at checkout or in the Family App), you allow Cuddle & Sing to take photos and short videos in class that include your child, and to use them:
- on our website and in the Family App;
- on our social media (such as Instagram and Facebook);
- in printed or digital promotional material for Cuddle & Sing.
We never publish your child’s full name, date of birth, health information or anything that shows where you live, and we don’t tag children in posts.
2.Optional, separate and off by default
- The box is unticked unless you tick it. Saying no never affects your booking or your child’s experience in class.
- Photo permission is separate from marketing emails and from birthday celebrations — each is its own choice.
- Consent is never assumed because your child attends a class. If you haven’t said yes, we keep your child out of shot or don’t use the photo.
- Permission is given by the parent or carer for each family and applies to the children in that family.
3.Changing your mind
You can withdraw permission at any time in the Family App (Family → Notifications & permissions → Photos in class) or by email us at hello@cuddleandsing.com.au. From then on we won’t take or share new photos of your child.
If you’d like a photo or video we’ve already shared removed, let us know and we’ll remove it from our own website and social media accounts where we reasonably can. We can’t always recall material that has already been printed or shared by others.
4.Your own photos in class
You’re welcome to take photos of your own child. Please don’t photograph, film or share other children (or their grown-ups) without their parent’s permission.
5.How we store photos
Photos and videos are kept securely and only used for the purposes above. Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal information generally.
